T1659 Norway Maple tree to be felled and stump removed. We have had a tree survey carried out with the following recommendation: “tree with significant bark wounding from 20 cm - 130 cm, to the west, due to the likelihood of extensive decay development. The wound spans appropriately 180 degrees of the stem and is unlikely to occlude. The removal of this tree should be mitigated by way of suitable replacement planting, in keeping with the prominent location. With this trees location being right next to a public footway the safety risks are higher
