Tree A - chestnut tree is rotten, and we would like to take it down. It is also the edge of the riverbank and if it fell (rather than being removed carefully) is very likely to pull a portion the bank away at the same time Tree B - chestnut Is rotting at its base, and we would like to take it down Tree C - yew. We would like to lift the crown of this tree to no more than 2.5m above ground level. We want to remove these 2 rotten/rotting trees. Going forward we would like to plant a new tree, on a different part of the site, probably something like a native silver birch that would be smaller with a less dense canopy.
