It is proposed that the entire roof is replaced with the Sandtoft 20/20 clay tile because the existing Marley Conrete plain tile is not suitable/ endorsed for use on shallow pitch roofs, and it is felt that for visual continuity the entire roof should have the new tile that is endorsed for use on shallow roof pitches. Please note it is proposed that the replacement tile is grey to reflect the tile that is being replaced. 2. The change to the window configuration is requested as it is considered beneficial to be able to open a top hung window for ventilation purposes. It is also considered to be a much more secure method of ventilating the rooms as apposed to having a full height window open. 3. The existing cladding has never been replaced to the knowledge of the owners and it is considered better to replace it entirely rather than try and match and repair the existing.
