6/2019/1172/NMA2 Following a site investigation and subsequent assessment and calculations of the SAP requirements, it has been determined that the U-Value targets will only be achieved with the addition of an externally applied insulated render system to both the new build and existing fabric of the building. It has been determined that certain elements of the existing wall construction at ground floor level consist of solid masonry construction with no insulation. As a result of this outcome, the proposed elevations propose to wrap the entire building in an insulated render system with three colour options to maintain the design intent of the previously approved elevations.
