Coppice Hornbeams, remove uprooted trees as well as others falling into each other including a Scots Pine and dead or diseased silver birch. Thin saplings and coppice. Layer (not coppice) five/six coppiced hornbeams to enable hornbeam hedge to develop. Remove dead trees and lightly coppicing previously coppiced hornbeams, thin out weak saplings and continue to make safe unstable trees plus plant more trees where weak ones have to be removed. Panthers Wood has an area of very skinny saplings which need selective thinning to encourage healthy growth covered by TPO 3 W19
